Beyondcall was created by a team of passionate people in the small Austrian town of Graz. The journey began in 2019 when the two founders, Vera Moosbrugger and Lukas Greussing, came up with the idea of revolutionizing the existing ways of contacting website owners.
Everyone sends voice messages and uses video calls on a regular basis in their private lives. But in a business context, the only things offered are old-school web forms and perhaps a few impersonal chat options. With this in mind, Beyondcall's founders started to work on their idea of improving online customer communication.
In April 2020, Beyondcall received seed funding from the Styrian Business Promotion Agency SFG (Austria) and launched their software soon afterwards in December 2020.
